Why did we settle on the mJOULE? As always, our experts at glo MD chose this technology taking into account safety, efficacy and, of course, the needs of our patients. SCITON BBL HERO AND FOREVER YOUNG BBL
BroadBand Light (BBL) is the world’s most powerful IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) device, safely delivering light energy deep into skin to stimulate and regenerate skin cells and improve the appearance of various skin concerns, such as brown spots, acne, redness, fine lines and broken capillaries. BBL is a great option for those looking to address multiple skin concerns at once and allows your glo MD provider to use a customized treatment approach.
Glo MD is proud to offer BBL HERO (High Energy Rapid Output)! BBL Hero is the next generation BBL treatment that delivers results from head to toe four times faster than traditional BBL. It’s the fastest and most effective way to revitalize the skin and treat visible signs of aging on the entire body.
BBL treatment is a non-invasive, comfortable treatment. Each flash of the light produces a feeling of warmth. Most patients easily tolerate the feeling without needing any anesthetic numbing cream.
After BBL treatment, any excess pigment is initially darkened, helping you know that you had an optimal treatment. Within the next several days, your body’s natural healing process will remove the pigmented cells and replace them with fresh, new, undamaged cells. Some patients may experience mild redness and sensitivity following the treatment, which typically resolves within a few hours.

Forever Clear BBL is a cutting-edge treatment option using the BBL technology to treat the symptoms associated with active acne. The BBL Forever Clear treatment uses multiple wavelengths of light to target acne-causing bacteria and inflammation, as well as to stimulate collagen production. This can help to reduce the appearance of acne and acne scarring and improve the overall texture and tone of the skin.
The skin is first treated with BBL blue light to target acne-causing bacteria at its source, deep down in the pores. Next, the skin is treated with BBL yellow light to reduce inflammation and acne-associated redness to give you healthy, luminous skin.

MOXI revitalizes and refreshes your skin’s appearance by correcting uneven pigmentation and improving tone and texture, no matter the season or your skin type. It’s fast and easy with little-to-no downtime. This lunchtime procedure can fit into your active lifestyle any time of year.
MOXI is designed to provide tone and texture improvements to your face, resulting in skin renewal. It does this by comfortably delivering fractionated, non-ablative laser energy to create micro-coagulation zones which the body then repairs, replacing damaged cells with fresh new ones.
Depending on the level of treatment provided, most patients find the treatment well tolerated. Your practitioner will recommend numbing cream to help ensure your treatment is as comfortable as possible.
Results vary depending on your treatment goals. The day following your treatment, your skin may appear red and, depending on your level of treatment, you may see the small micro dots called MENDs where the laser was applied. As the micro zones heal, they can darken and feel rough. Between days 3-5, the MENDs will slough off, revealing the renewed skin beneath.
